|Recommended: YesBlown Away — Pros Best location in town. Property management and maintenance is unparalleled and they are willing to go above and beyond to help. I mean maintenance is spooky fast - same day usually. The common areas are spectacular. Community events are very well done, well attended, and a lot of fun. Overall a fantastic experience that really is above and beyond anything I was expecting.
Cons 2 star rating for the physical apartments as they are built with cheap materials considering the rent paid ie cabinets are composite with fake wood laminate, tile shower walls but plastic floors . Has the feel of ownership getting a little too greedy in the construction. The layout design of the apartment is very attractive and impressive, but man, those IKEA-looking cabinets really cheapen the place. Also, having to pay for drinks at your own pool isn't ideal. I would think a resident wristband system could allow the bar to still drive revenue from gym members guests while allowing me to have a couple BL smooths that I brought down from my fridge.
|Recommended: YesReview — For the price of these apartments, you would think the doors bedroom bathroom closet doors internal to each apartment would be solid, not hollow, cheap doors. Only complaint.
|Recommended: YesLove Love Love One Light — Can't say enough good things about the quality of the building, its location, the amenities and the ALL the staff leasing, concierge, reception, housekeeping and maintenance . Within a year of moving to KCMO, I had already moved 3 times Plaza, Westport and Brookside before deciding to give downtown a chance. Coming from Boston, nothing felt right until I found One Light. Having a dog park and grocery store and health club attached are lifesavers. I am EXTREMELY sensitive to noise overhead ambience noise in the form of outside traffic and music doesn't bother me . I was unable to sleep in any of my other residences but at One Light I sleep like a baby. Have never heard the people above or next to me. I also feel very safe in the city. Much more safe than I did in those other neighborhoods. Possibly because there are always people out and about, but also because the security patrols the area very well. I really didn't think I would ever live in an apartment situation condos - no problem, but not apartments . I stand corrected. Very happy here.
|Recommended: YesLuxury Living Found in KCMO — Truly enjoyable turn key living. Your needs are met and exceeded by the friendly and professional team members of the One Light building. I travel often and live alone. The building is secure and has the amenities that one needs when they are on the go. The views from the floor to ceiling windows are remarkable and not to be missed.
|Recommended: YesWe Love One Light — We've been living in One Light for about a month and love it. Everyone is friendly, the amenities are great and the location is awesome. Can't say enough great things about living here.
|Recommended: YesAction packed — If you love city life and all that Power and Light has to offer....,grocery, spa, beauty and nail salon, coffee shops food, bars and more...this is the place for you. Have always had friendly encounters with staff and fellow residents. Very pet welcoming and friendly. Great interm experience.
|Recommended: YesFirst class experience all the way around — I have been a homeowner for over 30 years so going back into the apartment scene was very nerve racking, however I have found this to be like staying in a luxury hotel and thus a great experience.

|Recommended: YesGreat Location — Lots to do nearby. Great location. Very quiet good soundproofing inside the apartment. The only negatives are nit-picky type things. The paint used on the walls is cheap doesn't clean well , the kitchen cabinets use plastic shelf holders and rubber stoppers that fall off, and the master bedroom shower stall doesn't reflect the high end nature of these apartments.
|Recommended: YesAMAZING — I love these apartments They are absolutely gorgeous and the finishes and amenities are amazing Prices are comparable to apartments in the area with similar finishes. The staff really goes above and beyond for their tenants and are always friendly The proximity to power and light, the street car and all of downtown is great The rooftop park and pool are great as well Looking forward to continue living here
|Recommended: YesHands Down the Best Place to live in KC, not just saying that either. — It's like living in a 5-Star Hotel, Every guest I have visit leaves in Ahhhh. Cordish nailed it when it came to building this complex.
